Last week, we posted about Facebook advanced audiences being added into our platform, here are some examples of how these advance audiences can be used by Ecommerce.
Facebook Advanced Audience Example
You probably use different bidding strategies for more valuable audiences and less valuable ones. For example, an audience of customers who 'added to cart' in the past 7 days may be more valuable than customers who have 'added to cart' in the last 30 days. In this instance there would be two campaigns. Campaign 2 below would be given a higher bid amount due to the higher value audience.
Campaign 1
- Show a product from my catalogue to people who have: Added to Cart in the last 30 days, but
- Do not show a product from my catalogue to people who have: Added to Cart in the last 7 days.
Campaign 2
- Show a product from my catalogue to people who have: Added to Cart in the last 7 days
Other Use Cases of Advanced Audiences
Example 1:
- Show a product from my catalogue to people who have viewed in the last 7 days, but
- Do not show a product from my catalogue to people who have viewed in the last 1 hour or purchased in the last 180 days
This example is good if you are concerned about customers seeing an advert too soon after being on your site.
Example 2:
- Show a product from my catalogue to people who have..purchased in the last 180 days, but
- Do not show a product from my catalogue to people who have purchased in the last 30 days
This example is good if you sell consumables that you know people need to reorder (e.g., contact lenses)
Product Sets and Facebook Advanced Audiences
In StitcherAds, we make it easy for your to create product sets, where particular products can be associated based on the criteria you choose (e.g., price range, category, etc.). These product sets can then be used with advanced audiences for your dynamic product ads.
